A message to our Workpower community

To Workpower Customers, Families and Stakeholders, 

Government 5-day lockdown effective from 6pm, Sunday 31 January 2021 until 6pm Friday 5th February 2021

I hope this communication finds you and your family safe and well. We are mindful that this is a worrying time for everyone.   

Workpower is responding to the recent announcement from the WA Government that the Perth Metropolitan and Peel region will enter into a period of lockdown, where people are required to stay at home based on the Government’s directions.

Whilst Workpower was considered an essential service during last year’s COVID 19 lockdown, the safety of our customers and staff are our highest priority. 

Last year we continued some operations, however, because of how quickly this news has broken; the uncertainty about the strain of the virus (and the possibility it is the highly virulent UK strain); and the risks of community transmission, it is prudent that we suspend services for customers this week; employment and community programs.
