Common Name: Coastal pigface

Description: Genus – Carpobrotus. Species – Virescens.
A prostate, coastal shrub with thick succulent leaves. Flowers bloom from winter to summer in white, pink, or purple with yellow centres.

Expected dimensions when fully grown: 0.5 – 3m wide x 10 – 30cm tall

Best suits: Sandy coastal areas in partly shaded to sunny positions.

For best results: Apply liquid fertiliser before spring to boost flowering, and an all-purpose fertiliser once a year.
