At the Balcatta Recycling Shop (BRS) we’re passionate about recycling and upcycling, and it’s clear that we’re not alone: we’ve just reached 2,000 Facebook followers! Together we’re making a huge impact on the environment, diverting waste from landfill, and creating opportunities for people with disability. A big thanks to our supporters!
To celebrate, we’re giving you the chance to show us how creative and innovative you are. Winners will pocket some awesome gift vouchers for even more DIY action and big savings!
To enter, simply:
- Like and follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram
- Send us a picture and tells us how you’ve used items from the BRS eg. a renovation project, upcycled furniture, or a DIY craft, using the tag #myBRS or #DIYBalcatta
On Monday 3rd June we’ll host a poll on our Page where you can vote for the most innovative creations. The winner takes home $150 and the runner up $50 worth in store credit!
By submitting your entry you agree to your pictures being published on our Facebook and Instagram at a later date.
And that’s not all that’s going on at the BRS. If you bought something from us you can put your receipt in the barrel at the front of the store. You’ll be in the running to win a $50 gift voucher!

Terms and Conditions
Gift vouchers are valid for one transaction only. It cannot be changed or exchanged for cash. And it is only redeemable for items sold at the Balcatta Recycling Shop and not the weighbridge. Any leftover balance cannot be redeemed for cash.
To receive your voucher, you will be asked to provide a name and show identification. Please note that this is the same name used for entry into the Facebook competition. Once confirmed, the voucher will have the date of issue written on it. This makes it valid for 12 months after the issue date.
To redeem your voucher, you need to provide the voucher and the name under which the voucher is issued.
