Lotterywest is Onboard!

Today in the Community Program’s Blog we’re excited to announce that Workpower received a Lotterywest grant towards their November Performing Arts event, All Aboard!

This is a theatrical culmination of a year’s worth of Performing Arts and Music Rocks classes, and features an exciting journey to new destinations aboard a cruise ship. The $8 000 grant goes towards supporting the work of our Community Programs and celebrating their success in providing excellent support for the community.

Workpower CEO Lee Broomhall was delighted when she received the news.

“This grant will go a long way in allowing us to provide a higher quality performance at a wonderful space like Subiaco Arts Centre.”

“And we can host a wonderful show for this stellar cast!”

We wish to thank Lotterywest for their support and commitment to giving back to the community!

Workpower’s Performing Arts programs caters to adults with a disability, and provides an opportunity to develop confidence and teamwork through weekly workshops. Performers develop skills in dance, singing, and other various performance techniques.

All Aboard will be held on Saturday the 11th November 2017 at the Subiaco Arts Centre. It will be an unmissable performance, so make sure you book your attendance now!
