We talk more about last year’s amazing show, what our performers have learned, and the details for this year’s program.
A standout performance
Our Performing Arts stars are still buzzing after the success of Once Upon A Time. And they should be: this event broke many records, including our highest number of attendants for an event ever!
Over 300 family members, locals, and industry representatives were entertained that night at the Curtin Theatre at John Curtin College of the Arts.
When it came to showtime, the performers really found their confidence. Many audience members were moved to tears by the dramatic skits and solo numbers!
Our stars worked hard all year to:
- Craft their own characters
- Memorise their parts
- Creat their own artistic props
- Build self-expression
- Develop their theatrical techniques
Performers reflected on their achievements this year and took home a certificate and a copy of the photos and video recording from the show.
They also took with them a sense of achievement in themselves and lasting friendships with fellow performers!
