There is a small amount of parking outside the shop.
Is Second Chance managed by City of Kalamunda?
Second Chance has been established through a partnership between Workpower and the City of Kalamunda. Workpower manages the shop on behalf of the City of Kalamunda, supporting the employment of people with disability at Second Chance and throughout Workpower’s recycling team.
Where do the profits from the shop go?
All profits go towards managing the shop and supporting people with disability.
Do I have to be a resident to shop and donate at Second Chance?
No, anyone is welcome to shop and donate to Second Chance.
How can I pay for my goods?
Cash and EFTPOS facilities are available for you to purchase goods.
Can you search the shop for a specific item on my behalf?
Due to the large volumes of stock moving in and out of the shop every day, we’re not able to search for specific items. The best way to know if we have something in stock would be to drop by and check out what we have available.
Can I reserve an item before heading to Second Chance?
All items are available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved ahead of time.
Can I buy an item online?
We don’t accept online payments or reservations.
How can I find out what’s available at Second Chance?
Visiting the shop in person is the best way, but we will also be updating our Facebook page regularly.
Are your prices negotiable?
We work hard to ensure that our prices are competitive and fair for the products on offer. As such, we’re not able to negotiate on price.
Do you have loan trailers?
No, but you can hire a trailer from U-Haul Trailer Hire available at local petrol stations:
Puma Lesmurdie (194 Canning Highway, Lesmurdie)
