Team members lead the way at Fire & Electrical

Pictured above: Jessica shows off her Certificate of Appreciation with pride.

The hardworking asset management crew at Fire & Electrical Services had plenty to celebrate last month. They held a sausage sizzle lunch on the 23rd October to mark some important achievements and milestones for the team!

Our new Safety Officer

In the last few months Emily went above and beyond in her role as part of the maintenance team. Safety and wellbeing of others is one of her top priorities. Emily shows this commitment by notifying the support team of hazards or incidents where employees are lifting items incorrectly.

With her enthusiasm Emily takes the lead in our monthly fire drills and gets everyone to the muster point on time. She was thrilled to receive a commemorative badge at our celebratory event for her efforts. Being a Safety Officer encourages Emily to take on more responsibility, be independent, and take pride in her workplace.

A role model for students

We receive many new students through our doors each week as part of our Workplace Learning initiative. One of our experienced team members Jessica makes the effort to welcome them and make them feel comfortable. She’s always ready to give instructions and lend a hand if they get stuck.

It’s wonderful to see Jessica take pride in supporting others and stepping up as a role model. She’s certainly earned herself the Employee of the Month award.

On top of this, we congratulated fellow team member Mark on securing an exciting new hospitality role at Optus Stadium. And last but not least, we all came together to commemorate Harley’s 21st birthday. Now that’s plenty of reasons to celebrate!

Well done and congratulations team on achieving these important milestones.
