Next year is just around the corner, and you know what that means… It’s time to enjoy the sunshine, get active, and try out new activities with SHP!
Our highly-anticipated summer program runs from Monday to Friday from the 13th – 17th and the 20th – 24th January 2020. Children and young people with disability from ages 7 to 17 can take part in two weeks of exciting group activities across Perth and Mandurah.
SHP attendants get the chance to develop new skills, build friendships, and explore the local community. See what awesome fun we got up to in our last program!
Sun’s out, time to play!
We take full advantage of the great weather with plenty of fun in the sun and in nature. In addition to our favourite centre-based activities, you can expect:
- Outdoor laser tag
- Water park and playground trips
- Gymnastic and trampolining fun
- Wildlife and nature day out

Our South West program will be available shortly.
Getting active is what we’re about, and we’re starting off 2020 with new group sport activities! Our Perth program attendants will be playing soccer and even a round of cricket at the WACA grounds. Thank you to the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) and Wembley District Junior Cricket Club for supporting this special activity.
These activities are great for boys and girls of all abilities, and our support team are here every step of the way. Our goal is to help you be active, try out different skills, and get the most out of the experience.
Along with lots of outdoor fun we’ve got some great craft, baking, and movie entertainment for those who prefer to stay in the shade. We’ve even got an optional luxurious pampering session to unwind after the two weeks.
