Tamala Park Reuse Shop
In 2020 we began operating the Tamala Park Reuse Shop in partnership with the Mindarie Regional Council.
We manage the reuse shop which offers a wide variety of good quality secondhand goods. Visitors can drive through and recycle their scrap metal, plastics, polystyrene, cardboard, and more for free at our drop-off area. Tamala Park Reuse Shop provides employment opportunities for more than five people with disability.
Our Services
Buy secondhand
We pride ourselves on providing a range of good quality secondhand items at terrfic prices. You can find something for everyone in the house, including:
Clothes, accessories, and bags
BBQ equipment and sports gear
Furniture and tested appliances and electronics
Construction materials like brick, fences and even solar panels!
Our range changes daily, so we recommend coming in to see what we have on the day. All goods have been donated and effectively saved from landfill. All profits go towards maintaining the centre and creating employment opportunities for people with disability.

Reuse
Recycle for free!
We can recycle a wide range of materials free of cost. This includes:
Scrap metal and glass
Cardboard and paper
Plastics and white polystyrene
Landscape and renovator items
Whitegoods and electrical appliances
Good quality furniture, garden, and household goods
Before you dump your items at the weighbridge and pay a fee, turn left at our recycling drop-off and save.
Recycle
If we cannot reuse or recycle, we can help you dispose of your waste safely.
At our recycling area we can take:
Mobile phones
Fluorescent globes
All types of batteries
Cleaners and acids
Flammable liquids
Electronic items and e-waste
Household quantities of paint
Chemicals including pesticides and pool chemicals
