Reuse Shop Management

Workpower provides reuse shop management services to local government authorities that reduce their operational overheads and deliver social and community benefits.

We pride ourselves on providing a range of quality secondhand items at good prices. All items have been donated, with profits used to maintain the stores and create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

Our Locations

Since August 2016, we have run the Balcatta Recycling Shop (BRS) in partnership with the City of Stirling.

Together, we’ve now established the BRS as the number one stop for sustainable recycling, environmentally friendly waste disposal, and a treasure trove of hidden gems sold at bargain prices.

This exciting partnership with the City of Stirling has not only added social value to the community through the employment of people with disability or living with mental illness, but also helped bring the wider community together.

Come on down and take a look for yourself!

Balcatta Recycling Shop

In 2020 we began operating the Tamala Park Reuse Shop in partnership with the Mindarie Regional Council.

Like the Balcatta Recycling Shop, we manage the reuse shop which offers a wide variety of good quality secondhand goods. Visitors can drive through and recycle their scrap metal, plastics, polystyrene, cardboard, and more for free at our drop-off area.

Through this opportunity we’re able to offer new opportunities for people with disability to work, gain experience, and develop skills. Our shop and recycling area are open every day of the except certain public holidays. Drop by for a visit today!
