We provide support for people with disability to pursue work in the community.
Whether it’s a part-time job in a local business, or developing a microbusiness of your own, we work with you to achieve your employment goals.
Please note, Workpower is not a provider of Disability Employment Services (DES). If you have specific funding allocated through Disability Employment Australia for disability employment support,

Give you a taste of a particular industry
Social Enterprise Work Experience Program
For high school students and school leavers, this program will help you identify a potential career path and gain valuable employment skills along the way. It occurs across three stages:
Year 10s – explore your passions and interests outside of school hours
Year 11 and 12s – we’ll build on your passions for a more in-depth skill develpment and practical experience
After school – once you’ve finished school, we can provide more permanent employment support whether that’s getting into a job or exploring different skill-gaining experiences

Meet Alex!
For Workpower customer Alex Razmovski, volunteering his time at Fiona Stanley Hospital has led to a discovery of responsibility, fast learning and an ability to put a smile on everyone’s face.
After securing an initial interview for the volunteer position at the end of 2021, Alex worked with Liz Spina, his support coach, to ensure he was prepared for the interview and the steps that followed.
“The favourite part of my job is meeting people and trying to help them if I can!” said Alex.
