How Supported Employment Works Financially
NDIS funding does not cover a customer's paid wage. Workpower pays employees instead.
An independent supported wage assessor will complete a Supported Wage Assessment between 13 weeks and 26 weeks of employment to assess our supported employees' wages.
This process assesses your productivity by observing you performing tasks in your workplace with set performance criteria and benchmarks.
The Supported Wage Assessment will determine your productivity as a percentage.
Those who require consistent support throughout the day to undertake their work and non-work tasks are eligible for Support Employment. Each year, we review employee's wages through a review, and employees can request an interim review if they feel their situation has changed.
