There’s just no stopping Amazing James!

As he juggles his role at Workpower with his entrepreneurial venture, he always finds ways to incorporate his skills across both roles.

Working attentively in the Kalgoorlie property care team, James performs various tasks, including mowing lawns and paths, hedging, and applying plant poison. James takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces using tools such as a lawn mower, hedger, and spray pack.

Sharing insights into his dual roles, James revealed;

“I have my own business called James’ Rustic Nursery.”

He aspires to expand his nursery business and contribute to the local community through projects like recycling and selling his products to the tip shop.

James emphasised the value of learning different skills through his experience at Workpower to help him with his own business.

“I like to learn all the different skills and recycle products and reuse them. I get to learn other ways that I can do things.”

When asked about his favourite aspects of his role at Workpower, James told us, “I get to make new friends and have fun while I am at work.”

For James, the best thing about having a job is the sense of camaraderie and being part of a team, and of course, the satisfaction of receiving a pay cheque!

James envisions a future focused on growing his nursery business and expanding his contributions to recycling and sustainability.
