E is for Earth-Cycling – what comes out can go straight back in

50% of household waste is organic, which decomposes in landfill and creates greenhouse gasses. By placing your food scraps and garden clippings into your Food Organic Garden Organic (FOGO) bin.

This waste is sent to a processing centre and turned into compost and soil conditioner for use in the community.

Check your local government website for more information about what items can go into your FOGO bin.

Don’t have a FOGO bin?

Some local Government Authorities have not yet rolled out their FOGO bins. But you can still Earth-Cycle by starting your own compost at home!
