Workpower Presents: Excellent Ethan!
Keeping his town clean is one of many passions for this Special Olympic gold medallist!
In our recent conversation with Ethan, we uncovered his diverse skills and achievements at Workpower’s Property Care team.
Ethan’s job at Workpower combines tasks that servces the mining and property care sectors.
“I go out on property care for people’s businesses. I go around town and do stuff for businesses, like the famous ones on TV,” Ethan explained.
When asked about his favourite aspects of his job, Ethan expressed his enjoyment of mowing and spraying, emphasising the hands-on and varied nature of Property Care.
The team use tools such as lawnmowers, whipper snippers, and hazardous chemical sprays.
“We use really dangerous equipment... so that’s why we wear a mask.” Ethan said, highlighting the significance of PPE in ensuring that everyone is safe at work.
Ethan prioritises safety amongst his friends and speaks highly of his close friendships with his colleagues.
“All of my friends that I went to school with and people I have met in the past are here!” he shared.
Outside of work, Ethan has competed in the Special Olympics, participating in running, javelin, and shot put. He secured remarkable achievements, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals, indicating his determination and athletic abilities.
Ethan’s commitment to work, achievements in the Special Olympics, and the friendships he’s made highlight the positive impact that joining Workpower has made on his life.
