Powering Inclusivity and Growth in the Busselton Community!

Leading non-profit disability support organisation Workpower officially opened its doors in Busselton, providing supported employment opportunities to individuals with disability in the region.

Workpower has operated successful social enterprises in Perth for over thirty years, bringing businesses and people with disability together to create meaningful employment opportunities.

Workpower Busselton provides commercial businesses in the South West with packaging and warehousing services, including assembling and labelling products, de-labelling and labelling wine bottles and confidential shredding services.

From its Cook St facility, Workpower has a supportive and inclusive workspace for individuals with disability to realise their work on achieving their employment and life goals, showcase their skills and talents, and interact socially with others.

"Workpower Busselton is more than just a workplace; it's a community where everyone is valued and empowered," said Peter May, Executive Manager of Social Enterprises at Workpower.

"We firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute and grow, and our new regional venture reflects this commitment."

The launch of Workpower Busselton is a significant step forward in promoting inclusive employment practices in the region. With its Packaging and Warehousing operations, the social enterprise creates job opportunities and fosters a sense of belonging and purpose for individuals with disabilities.

"Joining Workpower Busselton isn't just about a job; it's about being part of a journey toward empowerment and achievement," Peter said.

"We welcome all individuals ready to embrace new challenges, learn, and contribute to the success of our community."
