Thomas’ Brew-tiful Journey into Customised Employment!

Thomas's Customised Employment Journey from Workpower Customer to Coffee Connoisseur!

For six years, Thomas has been a Workpower Customer, and recently, he decided he wanted to expand his horizons and learn a new employable (and enjoyable) skill. This decision lead him on an exciting journey into the world of coffee!

Through Workpower’s Customised Employment Program, Thomas received training from Dimattina Coffee, a renowned coffee supplier. Dimattina Coffee not only equipped him with the skills he needed but also provided the coffee beans to support his venture.

With the help of his Support Coach, Caroline, Thomas has been making coffee for a gold coin donation outside Stirling Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

Reflecting on his new role, Thomas couldn't be happier. "It's really good fun!" he exclaimed, noting that one of his favourite parts of the job is making his signature flat white coffees.

We’re excited to see Thomas thrive in his new role, and we can't wait to see where his coffee venture takes him next.
