Michael's days are filled with testing fire hoses, ensuring they meet safety standards crucial for firefighters. Having recently acquired his Heavy Rigid (HR) license, Michael’s responsibilities extend to delivering the tested hoses to fire stations across Western Australia, a task he really enjoys.
Swimming Sensation: Mandy’s Successful Virtual Rottnest Swim!
Mandy is a visually impaired Paralympic swimmer and a Supported Employee at Workpower Bentley. She showcased her determined spirit and swimming skills in the Virtual Rottnest Swim held on Saturday, February 24th.
Workpower Receives Generous Support from Lotterywest and State Government
Disability Services Minister Hon Don Punch MLA presented a Lotterywest grant of $247,500 to Workpower. Following the transfer of seven Activ Foundation businesses to Workpower last year, Workpower grew its administrative, and quality and safeguarding teams to ensure consistent high-quality services continue to be delivered across a much larger organisation.

Claire’s day-to-day activities consist of watering plants, weeding, assisting with plant selection, and stock movement for clients. She ensures each species blooms under her care.
